Information notice on personal data processing

in connection with the organisation of a conference

The Controller of your personal data is Gdynia Maritime University (address: ul. Morska 81-87, 81-225 Gdynia, Poland). The Controller appointed a Data Protection Officer (email: iod@umg.edu.pl).

Your personal data is processed on the basis of Article 6 subparagraph 1 point e) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GPDR) in order to register your participation in Conference PP-RAI'2020 - 3rd Polish Conference on Artificial Intelligence, communicate with participants with the aim to organize the conference, document its course and fulfil the mission pursued by the university on its basis, which is conducting scientific activity, shaping civic attitudes, as well as participation in social development and creating an innovation-based economy.

The recipients of your personal data are only entities authorized to obtain access to them on the terms and to the extent provided for by relevant laws or other relevant provisions.

The processed personal data falls into the category of regular personal data. They are not processed in an automated manner or profiled.

Provision of your personal data is voluntary - refusal to provide it will result in the inability to participate in the conference. Your personal data is classified as ordinary personal data and will not be processed automatically or profiled.

Your personal data will be kept for the period provided for in the current provisions of law, for the period of keeping financial and accounting records of the conference by Gdynia Maritime University.

The Controller of your personal data is also Pomeranian Students' Coalition Foundation (address: ul. Komandorska 23/12, 81-232 Gdynia) in the field of personal data processing in connection with the accounting documentation of the conference.

You have the right to access your personal data and a right to rectify it, to delete data, limit data processing and to object to such processing.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection in Warsaw if the processing of your personal data violates the applicable law.

Furthermore, we would like to inform you that in order to document the conference, photographs will be taken during it, which will be published on the website http://pp-rai2020.umg.edu.pl/.
